Admission Guidelines

Paras Public School welcomes students to an enriching, joyful learning experience. No discrimination is made on the basis of caste, creed, race, status, or gender.

Our transparent admission process is designed to ensure a good fit between what families expect and what the school offers.

Admissions are open from Nursery to Class XII.
The process has two stages. Please read the guidelines carefully before filling the Application/Registration Form.

Application & Registration

1) Application Form
  • How to obtain: Parents/guardians may collect the Application/Registration Form from the School Office (or apply online through the website). Please retain the fee receipt for future reference.

3) Completeness & Accuracy

Incomplete forms or false information will render the application invalid and may lead to cancellation of admission.

Submission, Interaction/Assessment & Decision

1) Where & When to Submit
  • Submission window: On all working days (except the last Saturday of the month)

  • Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Venue: School Admission Office / Campus Reception

  • Mode: Submit the completed application form with all supporting documents in person/online.

2) Documents to Attach (Self-attested where applicable)

Application packet must include:

  • Authentic Birth Certificate (Municipal Corporation/Competent Authority) clearly mentioning Date of Birth

  • Five recent passport-size photographs of the child

  • One passport-size photograph each of mother & father/guardian

  • Aadhaar Card copy of student and parent(s)/guardian

  • Previous School Transfer Certificate (TC)mandatory for Class II and above

  • Previous class Report Card/Marks Sheetfrom Class I onwards

  • Medical Fitness Certificate (MBBS Doctor/Registered Medical Practitioner)

  • Blood Group report

  • Character Certificaterequired for Class XI & XII

  • Migration Certificate (if shifting Board/State, especially for Class XI admissions)

Important: Originals must be produced for verification at the time of admission. Photocopies will be retained by the school.

3) Admit Slip / Interaction Call
  • If documents are in order, an Admit Slip/Card will be issued indicating the date & time for the next step (interaction/assessment).

  • Dates are subject to change with prior notice. The Admit Slip/Card must be carried for all further interactions.

4) Interaction / Assessment
  • Nursery–UKG: Play-based interaction with the child and a brief meeting with parents/guardians.

  • Class I–VIII: Age-appropriate screening/interaction focusing on basic literacy, numeracy, and general awareness.

  • Class IX–X: Limited diagnostic assessment in core subjects to understand academic readiness and support needs.

  • Class XI–XII: Interaction and subject-specific counseling to finalize stream/subject combinations (availability as per school’s offering).

Note: The interaction/assessment is not a high-stakes exam; it helps us understand the learner’s profile.

5) Admission Decision & Confirmation
  • The School Management is the final authority for admission decisions.

  • On selection, parents will receive a Provisional Admission Offer detailing fee structure, last date for fee payment, and joining formalities.

  • Admission stands confirmed only after document verification and payment of the admission fee within the stipulated time.

Fee Payment & Policies

  • Fee Payment: As per the Fee Schedule mentioned in the offer letter; payable via cashless modes (UPI/Net-banking/Card) and at the Accounts Office during working hours.

  • Non-payment by the due date may lead to offer lapse and allocation to wait-listed applicants.

  • Refunds/Withdrawals: Any refunds (if applicable) will be processed as per the school’s refund policy and prevailing government/board norms. Caution money (if any) is refundable subject to clearance of dues and submission of the original receipt.

  • Transport: Bus facility is optional and allotted subject to route availability. Separate Transport Rules & Fees apply.
